Bio
Dr. Lori A. Grant is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle conditions. She completed a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency program at Florida Hospital, where she performed over 1,200 surgical procedures. Dr. Grant has treated the full assortment of lower extremity conditions, ranging from bunions, hammertoes and heel pain, to complex reconstructive foot and ankle repairs. She also specializes in wound care, diabetic limp salvage, trauma and sports related injuries. Dr. Grant is committed to offering each and every patient her personal attention and the highest quality of care.
Dr. Grant is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Florida Podiatric Medical Association and the Central Florida Podiatric Association. She is double-board certified in both forefoot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Grant was born and raised in Colquitt, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southwestern State University where she majored in Pre Medical studies earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Grant received her doctorate of podiatric medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was actively involved in multiple student and community leadership positions.
Dr. Grant and her husband currently reside in Longwood and she enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and running half marathons.
