Loris Harris is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) with Orlando Health Physician Associates. She has expertise in:

  • Assessing, treating and monitoring an array of acute or chronic illnesses including stroke, cellulitis, coronary artery disease and respiratory infections
  • Administering IV fluids and medications
  • Managing the planning and implementation of interventions

She has been a registered nurse (RN) for more than 10 years, most recently at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital where she served on the observation unit. Loris also has RN experience in emergency and internal medicines and obstetrics/newborn care. As a nurse practitioner, she worked in otolaryngology, evaluating and managing acute and chronic ear, nose and throat conditions and disorders.

Loris believes in building a strong rapport among healthcare providers, patients and family.

Loris’ Training

Loris earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN), family nurse practitioner, at Long Island University's School of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York. She received both her bachelor’s and associate degrees in nursing from AdventHealth University in Orlando.
