Bio
Lucidalia “Lucy” Burgos is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. She specializes in motility, and her expertise includes:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Dyssynergic defecation
- Chronic idiopathic constipation
- Eosinophilic esophagitis
- Esophageal dysphagia
- Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
Lucy has more than 30 years of experience, including roles as a registered nurse and APRN in Central Florida. She is skilled in procedures such as esophageal and anorectal manometry and biofeedback. Lucy strives to provide the best evidence-based care possible to improve her patients’ quality of life.
Lucy’s Training
Lucy received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. She earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with an adult nurse practitioner concentration from South University in Savannah, Georgia, graduating with honors.
About Lucy
Lucy is certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as an APRN in Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Gastroenterology and American Urogynecology Society.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and traveling. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
