Bio
Dr. Luis Garcia is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, cardiac ablation, and cardiac device implantation and management. His expertise includes:

- Atrial fibrillation

Dr. Garcia’s Training
Dr. Garcia earned a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. He received his medical degree with honors from New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical electrophysiology at NYU Langone Medical Center.
About Dr. Garcia
Dr. Garcia is board-certified in cardiac electrophysiology, internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Garcia has written numerous articles for publications including Heart Rhythm, PACE and Circulation Research. He has been awarded research grants for cardiovascular disease and presented the results at national conferences.
Outside of work, Dr. Garcia enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
