Mark Weatherly, MD, is a pediatric pulmonologist with the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology. His areas of practice include cystic fibrosis, asthma, sleep disorders and airway malformations.
Dr. Weatherly earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed a pediatric residency at Michigan State University in East Lansing, and a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his fellowship, he developed a chest X-ray scoring system for patients with cystic fibrosis. Now known as the Wisconsin CF scoring system, the method is used as an outcome measure for clinical research.
Dr. Weatherly is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Florida State University College of Medicine.
He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and American College of Pediatricians.
