Dr. Mauricio Perez Martinez is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He specializes in conditions affecting the arteries and veins, and his expertise includes:

Dr. Perez Martinez’s Training
Dr. Perez Martinez received his medical training with honors from the Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine in Monterrey, Mexico. He completed a research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and a burn fellowship at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. His training continued with a general surgery residency at Swedish Medical Center HealthOne in Englewood, Colorado, and a vascular surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Perez Martinez has written numerous peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters on topics related to general surgery, thoracic surgery and vascular surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Perez Martinez enjoys fishing, tennis, dining out and traveling. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
