Dr. Mekdes Ditamo is a board-certified neurologist with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute, specializing in vascular neurology and the diagnosis and prevention of strokes. Her expertise includes:
- Memory disorders
- Neuromuscular disorders

- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Meningitis
- Headaches

Dr. Ditamo’s Training
Dr. Ditamo earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. She received her degree in osteopathic medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. Dr. Ditamo completed an internal medicine residency at HCA Florida Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg and a neurology residency at Orlando Health. She also holds master’s degrees in business administration from Lincoln Memorial University and in health administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
