Dr. Michael Hill is a board-certified neurosurgeon with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. He specializes in complex spinal procedures of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr. Hill offers a full range of neurosurgical procedures, including:
- Lumbar fusions
- Cervical fusions
- Kyphoplasty
- Microdiscectomy
- Laminectomy
Dr. Hill’s Training
Dr. Hill earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed a surgical internship and residency in neurological surgery at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio. Following his residency, he remained at Case Western to pursue additional training in radiosurgery, linear accelerator and stereotactic surgical procedures.
About Dr. Hill
Dr. Hill is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurosurgical Surgeons and member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Lake-Sumter County Medical Society.
His many achievements include founding the first radiosurgery program in Volusia County and creating several copyrighted software programs.
Outside of work, Dr. Hill enjoys restoring old cars, Sports Car Club of America racing, adopting rescue dogs, photography and writing software.
