About Internal Medicine
As an internal medicine specialist, Dr. Glick believes in listening to patients and forming a close rapport with them. He treats hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, thyroid issues and other general adult medical conditions. His goal is to enable patients to make well-informed decisions and healthy lifestyle changes to achieve wellness and the best possible quality of life.
For patients with chronic or multiple medically-complex diseases, he actively involves them in their care as they progress from diagnosis to treatment and beyond. As needed, he coordinates comprehensive care with other physicians, healthcare professionals and hospital services.
Noninvasive Cardiology
Fellowship-trained in cardiology, Dr. Glick also provides noninvasive cardiology care. This includes the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, chest pain and valve disease using external testing. A few of these tests include:
- Noninvasive imaging of blood vessels
- Transthoracic echocardiogram
- Exercise stress test with nuclear imaging
- Coronary computed tomography angiogram
In addition to medication and ongoing monitoring, after diagnosis he may recommend improved lifestyle behaviors such as smoking cessation, a healthy diet, exercise, less sodium and more.
