Bio
Dr. Michelle Chamoun is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology specializing in:
- Breast imaging
- Screening
- Diagnostic mammography
- Breast ultrasound
- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Image-guided breast procedures
She believes in good communication and shared decision-making with patients while offering high-quality, evidence-based care and empowering and educating women on the importance of breast health.
Dr. Chamoun’s Training
Dr. Chamoun received her bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. She completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida, where she served as chief resident and also completed her fellowship in breast imaging.
About Dr. Chamoun
Dr. Chamoun is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. She is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging and Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, running, kickboxing and strength training. Dr. Chamoun is fluent in English and Arabic.

Why do some Orlando Health physicians not have a patient experience rating?
The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
