Dr. Gerges’ Training
Dr. Gerges earned his medical degree from Cairo University and completed his internship at Cairo University Hospitals and a residency in neurology at El Sahel Teaching Hospital, all located in Egypt. He also completed a residency in internal medicine at Orlando Health Orlando Health Regional Medical Center.
About Dr. Gerges
Prior to immigrating to the United States, Dr. Gerges practiced neurology for nearly five years. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Epilepsy Society. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
He has his bachelor’s degree in medicine as well as a master’s degree in neurology from Cairo University. Dr Gerges is also a certified physician by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. He completed his board exam in internal medicine in 2020.
