Dr. Misbah F. Azmath is a board-certified endocrinologist with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes as well as thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, parathyroid and other endocrine disorders. Her services include:
- Thyroid cancer management
- Fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules
- Diabetic insulin pump management
- Osteoporosis management
- Chemotherapy and radiation-induced endocrinopathies
- PCOS, adrenal and pituitary disorders
Dr. Azmath tailors each patient’s therapy to their lifestyle. Because the conditions she treats are often lifelong, she enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their personal health goals.
Dr. Azmath’s Training
Dr. Azmath received her medical training from Bangalore Medical College in India. She completed an internal medicine residency at Quinnipiac University / St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and an endocrinology fellowship at the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Azmath is certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
She has been the principal investigator in many research studies, and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and publications.
Outside of work, Dr. Azmath enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and reading. She values volunteering and has used her skills for a medical mission, a free clinic and an immunization campaign.
She is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu.
