Mitchell L. Supler, MD, FACS, is a neurosurgeon with the Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital NeuroSpine Center of Excellence and the NeuroSpine Institute of Orlando.
Dr. Supler graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, in 1989, receiving the Lyerly Award for Excellence in Neurosurgery. While at UF, he was trained in advanced microneurosurgical anatomy and surgery by Albert Rhoton Jr., MD, known as the father of microneurosurgery.
Dr. Supler specializes in artificial disc replacement of the lumbar spine, and he has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of chronic pain. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Supler serves as a teaching consultant to multiple spine companies, where he helps to train other physicians.
