Monica S. Guirguis, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. She provides her patients with newborn care, breast feeding support, preventative medicine, acute care and sick visits, well child exams, immunizations, asthma care, and school and sports physicals.
Dr. Guirguis earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania and her bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She also participated in a post-doctorate certification program focused on global health issues from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing.
Dr. Guirguis completed her internship in internal medicine and family medicine at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, New Jersey, and her residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Guirguis is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics, American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, and Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at numerous medical conferences. She is fluent in English and Arabic and proficient in Spanish.
