Mylie Siegel is a certified genetic counselor (CGC) with Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She analyzes patients’ personal history, family history and genetic test results to estimate their risk of developing cancer and to create a personalized medical management plan. Her expertise includes:

  • Genetic risk assessment
  • Educating patients about genetic disorders
  • Coordinating genetic testing
  • Interpreting test results
  • Creating management plans for patients

Mylie believes in educating patients about their genetics and helping them feel understood and supported.

Mylie’s Training

Mylie earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and cell science at the University of Florida in Gainesville and received her master’s degree in genetic counseling from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

About Mylie

Mylie is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counselors, and her professional memberships include the National Society of Genetic Counselors and Florida Association of Genetic Counselors.

Outside of work, she enjoys sewing, embroidering, playing ukulele and guitar, practicing aerial arts and seeing Broadway shows.
