Bio
Dr. Nabil Siddiqi is a board-certified psychiatrist with Orlando Health Medical Group Behavioral Health. He has cared for patients since 2015, and his experience includes:
- Conducting outpatient psychiatric evaluations
- Treating depression and anxiety
- Caring for obsessive-compulsive, bipolar and psychotic disorders
- Treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Caring for autism spectrum patients
- Providing women’s mental-health care
- Administering outpatient and inpatient psychotherapy
- Providing psychiatric care to veterans
- Treating post-surgery, intellectually disabled and geriatric patients
- Providing integrative medicine
- Performing electroconvulsive therapy
Before joining Orlando Health, he served in a variety of roles including chairman of psychiatry and medical director at a New Jersey hospital and as an adult attending psychiatrist.
Dr. Siddiqi’s Training
Dr. Siddiqi earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and received his medical training from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He completed his residencies in psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Dr. Siddiqi completed his visiting fellowship in electroconvulsive therapy at Columbia University in New York.
About Dr. Siddiqi
He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and licensed as a medical doctor in Florida. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Medical Association.
Dr. Siddiqi’s faculty positions have included serving as an instructor of psychiatry at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was honored twice as Teacher of the Year.
Outside of work, Dr. Siddiqi enjoys fitness, martial arts and traveling.
