Nacole is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who provides heart failure ambulatory care to patients at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She has more than 10 years of critical care experience in Central Florida, and her skills include:
- Caring for patients with cardiovascular problems
- Providing health education and counseling
- Performing screenings
Her interactions with a nurse after a childhood accident inspired her to pursue nursing as a career. Nacole developed a passion for cardiology after her husband had a heart attack. She enjoys caring for people in their time of need.
Nacole’s Training
Nacole received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from AdventHealth University in Orlando. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, specializing in acute care and family nurse practitioner with a cardiovascular subspecialty. She is pursuing her doctor of nursing practice at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
She also has a Master of Business Administration degree from Capella University.
About Nacole
Nacole is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also holds certifications in cardiac medicine and in acute/critical care nursing from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
She also is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) and as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
Outside of work, Nacole enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. She is a Florida native.
