Bio
Dr. Nanda Nair is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. His expertise includes:
- General cardiology
- Coronary artery disease

- Transesophageal echocardiography and 3D echocardiography

Dr. Nair has treated patients since 2014 and believes that understanding their social, mental and physical well-being enables him to provide the best possible care.
Dr. Nair’s Training
Dr. Nair received his bachelor’s degree in computer science, with a minor in microbiology, from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, graduating with honors. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Nair completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, where he was named resident of the year. His fellowship in cardiovascular disease was completed at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, also in Camden. He was co-chief fellow his final year.
About Dr. Nair
Dr. Nair is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is an Eagle Scout.
Outside of work, Dr. Nair enjoys flying drones and playing video games.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
