Bio
Dr. Nataliya Plyushcheva is a board-certified and fellowship-trained radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. Her experience includes:
- X-rays
- Ultrasounds
- Computed tomography (CT) scans
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
She has been working in diagnostic radiology since 2007, with previous experience instructing clinical radiology.
Dr. Plyushcheva’s Training
Dr. Plyushcheva received her medical training from the Second Moscow State Medical University of N.I. Pirogov in Russia. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Drexel University Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
She also earned a Ph.D in neurosurgery from the Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute in Moscow and was a clinical research fellow at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
About Dr. Plyushcheva
Dr. Plyushcheva is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and licensed as a medical doctor by the Florida Department of Health. Her professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, American College of Physicians and New York Academy of Sciences.
She has been an assistant professor at the Burdenko Neurosurgery Institute and the University of California San Diego. Her academic appointments delved into research for angioplasty and cardiac surgery patients.
During her career, she had roles as a professional consultant for corporations testing medical devices including a cerebral oximeter, transcranial Doppler device and EEG analyzer. Her work has been published in numerous medical journals.
