Dr. Noushad Mamun is a fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He is part of the Orlando Spine Center, which is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute

He uses nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments to care for patients who suffer from spine and musculoskeletal pain impacting the neck, lower back, hip, knee and shoulder, including:

  • Arthritis
  • Cancer-related pain
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Disc herniations
  • Joint pain
  • Neck and back pain
  • Tendon and sports injuries

Dr. Mamun’s journey into pain medicine was driven by a desire to bring relief to those whose lives are limited by chronic debilitating pain. He provides each patient with an individualized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Mamun incorporates minimally invasive procedures, collaborative patient education and positive lifestyle modifications to achieve the best possible outcomes with the primary goal of restoring function and enhancing quality of life.

Dr. Mamun’s Training

Dr. Mamun earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He received a his degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Dr. Mamun completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida, and an interventional pain medicine fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he specialized in advanced techniques for both cancer-related and non-cancer pain.

About Dr. Mamun

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mamun has written for peer-reviewed medical journals, contributed book chapters and presented his research at national conferences. His professional memberships include the North American Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Academy of Pain Medicine and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience.

Outside of work, Dr. Mamun enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, basketball and traveling.
