Patrick F. Emerson, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He specializes in injuries to and conditions of the shoulder, elbow and hand. From children to seniors, Dr. Emerson cares for patients of all ages, including those with acute trauma, sports injuries and health conditions such as osteoarthritis.

Along with dedicated, compassionate occupational and physical therapists, our team of hand specialists provides everything patients need for their treatment and recovery in one convenient location. Dr. Emerson cares for patients with painful hand injuries and conditions and also treats those with injuries and diseases of the elbow and shoulder.

Dr. Emerson is committed to helping his patients return to an active, pain-free lifestyle by using advanced surgical techniques and technology such as arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Emerson believes the decision to proceed with surgery should come only after trying nonsurgical options, including physical therapy, prescription medication management and injections. If nonsurgical options do not alleviate pain, Dr. Emerson will review and advise on next steps, possibly surgery.
