Bio
Dr. Peter Correnti is a board-certified cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He joined Orlando Heath with more than 25 years of experience, and his specialties include:

Dr. Correnti is a retired U.S. Army captain and served in physician, educator and administrative roles during his military career. He believes in listening to his patients’ concerns and being part of the shared decision-making process. Dr. Correnti enjoys spending time with his patients and making a difference in their lives.
Dr. Correnti’s Training
Dr. Correnti received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and his master’s in biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Correnti completed his internal medicine residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry in Stratford, New Jersey, and his cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

Dr. Correnti is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists and American College of Cardiology. He is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Correnti’s professional memberships include the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists and American College of Cardiology.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, traveling and reading mystery novels.
