Dr. Tella is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional pain management at the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. His clinical interests are radiofrequency ablations, neuromodulation and minimally invasive lumbar decompression. He employs nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments to care for patients who suffer from chronic pain conditions including:
- Arthritis
- Herniated discs
- Spinal pain
- Spinal stenosis
- Chronic back pain
Dr. Tella educates his patients about pain conditions and develops a personalized treatment plan to achieve maximum pain relief and restore function to improve quality of life.
Dr. Tella’s Training
He received his medical training at Andhra Medical College in India and earned a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr. Tella completed an internal medicine residency at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and was named best resident in his second year. He completed an interventional pain management fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Tella is certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in pain medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has conducted research and been published regarding treatment of postamputation pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
Outside of work, Dr. Tella enjoys volunteering to help terminally ill children. He also likes music and spending time with family.
