Dr. Patel’s Training
Dr. Patel received his medical training at Gujarat University in Ahmadabad, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in New York and fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, where he was chief cardiology fellow.

Dr. Patel is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also is certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Outside of work, he enjoys tennis and basketball. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
