Bio
Rachel Appoo is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with Orlando Health Medical Group specializing in urology. She cares for individuals experiencing urologic conditions including:
- Bladder control problems
- Recurrent UTI
- Enlarged prostate
- Kidney stones
- Prostatitis
- Gross hematuria
- Erectile dysfunction
Rachel has more than 15 years of experience including roles as a registered nurse at Orlando Health hospitals. She provides compassionate and individualized care to her patients while acknowledging their unique situations.
Rachel’s Training
Rachel earned an associate degree in nursing from Valencia College in Orlando. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where she also earned her Master of Science in nursing education. She completed her doctor of nursing practice (DNP), with a concentration in family nurse practitioner studies, at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Rachel is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed as an APRN in Florida.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and going to church, spas and the beach.
