Dr. Kankanala’s Training
Dr. Kankanala received his medical training at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency in family medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

Dr. Kankanala worked for 13 years as a primary care physician taking care of patients in both outpatient and hospital settings. He also worked part time in an addiction medicine clinic for three years.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and his professional memberships include the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Kankanala enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, traveling, hiking and cooking.
