Bio
Rashmee Pokharel is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP-BC) and an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Orlando Health Support Team for Aftercare and Resources Outpatient Centers. She specializes in follow-up care after patients are released from the hospital and her expertise includes:
- Conducting post-discharge physical exams
- Managing medication
- Providing disease prevention education
- Ordering lab work, MRIs and other tests
- Making referrals to specialists or other services
- Taking patient histories
Rashmee has provided highly skilled and compassionate care to Central Florida patients since 2008.
Rashmee’s Training
Rashmee received her nursing training at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Nepal. She earned her Master of Science in nursing with an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner specialty at the University of South Florida in Tampa and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Rashmee is board certified as an adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is licensed in Florida as an APRN and a registered nurse. Her professional memberships include the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of work, Rashmee enjoys spending time with family and friends, yoga, gardening and reading.
Rashmee is fluent in English, Hindi and Nepali.
