Dr. Richard George is a board-certified interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He uses medical imaging such as X-rays, ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) to guide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat an array of conditions that once required open surgery.
He has cared for patients in Central Florida since 2000, believing that attention to people and connecting with them enables quality medical care.
Dr. George also is board certified in diagnostic radiology. He is radiology site chief at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.
Dr. George’s Training
Dr. George earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, where he served as chief resident in his final year. His fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology was performed at University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
