Rishi K. Sehgal, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary and sleep medicine with Orlando Health Medical Group. He cares for patients with injuries or diseases of organs in the thorax or chest and sleep-related disorders.
Dr. Sehgal earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George’s, Grenada, West Indies. He graduated cum laude from State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook with a bachelor’s of science degree in biology and completed his residency in internal medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
Dr. Sehgal has completed fellowships in hepatology at AdventHealth Orlando, pulmonary disease at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, sleep medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, and critical care medicine at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.
He is also board certified in sleep medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American College of Chest Physicians. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work nationally and internationally.
