Bio
Dr. Gibson is a cardiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and has expertise in:
- General cardiology diagnostics
- Echocardiography
- Transesophageal echocardiography
- Loop recorder monitoring and insertion
- Diagnostic heart catheterization
- Cardioversion
Dr. Gibson strives to treat each patient with compassion and understanding, a care philosophy that was shaped by the treatment his grandfather received after a heart attack.
Dr. Gibson’s Training
Dr. Gibson received his bachelor’s in biology at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his medical degree at East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. Dr. Gibson completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, where he also performed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease.

He is double board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Gibson enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing piano. He also is a fan of tabletop and computer games, as well as martial arts, including taekwondo, hapkido and kumyedo.
