Bio
Dr. Robert Barbati is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Gastroenterology. He has more than 40 years of experience diagnosing and treating diseases in the GI tract, and his specialties include:
- Digestive disorders
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease
- Celiac disease
- Small bowel disorders
- Colorectal disease
- Biliary tract disorders
- Pancreatic and liver conditions
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, liver and pancreas
- Colonoscopies of the anus, rectum and colon polypectomies
- Colon cancer diagnosis with specialty referral for treatment

Dr. Barbati’s Training
Dr. Barbati earned a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University in New York, graduating cum laude, and received his medical training at St. George’s University in Grenada. He completed an internal medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and gastroenterology fellowships at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School, and Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Barbati is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His professional memberships include the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, Florida Society of Internal Medicine and Martin County Medical Society.
