Dr. Roberto Negron is a board-certified cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. His specialty is outpatient and inpatient general cardiology service including:
- EKG interpretation
- Event monitoring
- Echocardiograms
- Stress testing
- Invasive coronary angiograms
- Cardiac catheterizations
Dr. Negron has performed cardiology services since 2013 at Central Florida medical facilities in Lake County.
His patient philosophy is to provide state-of-the-art cardiovascular care while emphasizing the importance of treating patients with the same care and compassion as he would his own family members.
Dr. Negron’s Training
Dr. Negron earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. He completed his internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Puerto Rico's Medical Sciences Campus.
About Dr. Negron
Dr. Negron is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. He is licensed as a medical doctor by the Florida Department of Health. His professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association and American Society of Echocardiography.
He volunteers with Citadel of Hope Ministries in Leesburg and Liberty Baptist Church in Tavares.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, exercise and indulging in the world of fantasy and science fiction.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.
