Dr. Roger “Casey” Gaskins III is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He specializes in hand and upper extremity injuries, and his expertise includes:

Dr. Gaskins’ Training
Dr. Gaskins graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he also received his medical degree with honors. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa and a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Gaskins is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has delivered presentations internationally.
Outside of work, Dr. Gaskins enjoys spending time with family, traveling, golf and Tampa Bay sports.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
