Dr. Ruth Strakosha is a board-certified urologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Urology. Committed to quickly and effectively reducing her patients’ pain and discomfort, she treats conditions affecting men’s and women’s urinary tract and reproductive systems.
Dr. Strakosha provides patients full urologic care, including both surgical and non-surgical treatment for urologic diseases and conditions. With compassion and understanding, her goal is to ease anxiety while offering experienced care and advanced treatments for urologic cancers, including:

Dr. Strakosha’s Training
She has a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida and remained at UCF to earn her medical degree. She completed a research fellowship in robotics and innovative technologies at Boston Children’s Hospital and a residency in urologic surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.

She was a member of the UCF School of Medicine’s charter class and awarded the Ginsburg Family Scholarship. Dr. Strakosha is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and has presented at numerous medical conferences and meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.
She is fluent in English, Albanian and Spanish.
