Ruth Strakosha, MD, is a urologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Urology. Her focus is diagnosing and treating conditions affecting men and women’s urinary tract and reproductive systems. These include chronic urinary tract infections, bladder issues, kidney stones, incontinence and more.
Dr. Strakosha earned her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). One of just 41 students, Dr. Strakosha was a member of the UCF School of Medicine’s charter class.
She completed a research fellowship in robotics and innovative technologies at Boston Children’s Hospital, and a residency in urologic surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa.
Dr. Strakosha has presented at numerous medical conferences and meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. She is fluent in English, Albanian and Spanish.
