Dr. De Jesus’s Training
Dr. De Jesus earned his medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He completed his residency in general surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital Medical Center in New York and was chief resident in his final year. His fellowship in colon and rectal surgery was performed at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. He previously served as chair of the surgery department at Orlando Health and has been involved with several quality committees during his tenure.

Dr. De Jesus is certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery. He was a clinical instructor in surgery at New York Medical College. Dr. DeJesus is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.
