Bio
Dr. Saurabh Agrawal is a board-certified gastroenterologist with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute Liver Center. He specializes in transplant hepatology, which focuses on the management of advanced liver disease, and his expertise includes:
- Chronic liver failure

Dr. Agrawal’s Training
Dr. Agrawal received his medical training at the Federal University of Paraiba School of Medicine in Campina Grande, Brazil. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and a transplant hepatology fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
About Dr. Agrawal
Dr. Agrawal is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His professional memberships include the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, American Society of Transplantation and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Agrawal previously served as medical director of a hospital’s liver tumor program. He has been the principal investigator on several studies, and his work has appeared in peer-reviewed medical publications.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, soccer and learning new languages. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Hindi.
