Dr. Patel’s Training
Dr. Patel received his medical training at Maharaja Sayajirao University’s Medical College Baroda in India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Patel also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in New York.

Dr. Patel is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also is certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. His professional memberships include the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, American College of Cardiology, Pennsylvania Medical Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Patel’s work has appeared in peer-reviewed medical publications, and he has presented his research nationally.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, pickleball, golf and cricket. He is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
