Dr. Shalini Patel joined the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children team as a hospitalist after more than a decade of treating children at medical centers across Florida. She is a board-certified pediatrician and has experience:
Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa. She also attended USF for her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and graduated cum laude.
She left Florida for Connecticut to complete her internship and residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, where she was named Resident of the Year.
Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has treated patients ranging from newborns to 21 years of age. She also has experience teaching and providing consultations and education to other hospital staff.
