Bio
Dr. Shiloh Smajstrla is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. As a hospitalist, she provides comprehensive care throughout a patient’s hospital stay. Her expertise includes:
- Labor and delivery
- High-risk pregnancy
- Emergency gynecology
Dr. Smajstrla is committed to providing safe, evidence-based care and believes that making decisions together with her patients produces the best outcomes.
Dr. Smajstrla’s Training
Dr. Smajstrla graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she also received her medical degree. She completed an OB-GYN residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Smajstrla is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and she is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She has been recognized twice for her dedication to teaching and patient care.
Outside of work, Dr. Smajstrla enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dogs.
She also likes stand-up paddleboarding, boating, hiking, traveling, gardening, cooking and trying new restaurants.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
