Dr. Shiva Shashidharan is a board-certified cardiologist at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. His expertise includes:

Dr. Shashidharan’s Training
Dr. Shashidharan received his medical training from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.

Dr. Shashidharan is certified in internal and cardiovascular medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the National Board of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Shashidharan has delivered numerous academic presentations related to cardiology, and he has experience working in educational roles in clinical cardiology settings.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, soccer, astrophysics, anthropology and learning languages. He is fluent in Hindi and English.
