Shuchi Chaudhary, MD, is a board-certified vascular neurologist with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute Neurology Group. She diagnoses, manages and treats conditions and disorders such as stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), cerebral aneurysms, intracerebral hemorrhages and more.
Vascular Neurology Specialist
As a vascular neurology specialist, Dr. Chaudhary’s focus is on stroke and other associated disorders. She provides consultation for acute strokes and acute neurologic disorders via tele neurology for patients within the Orlando Health system (including the hospital and emergency departments).
For those patients without emergency needs, she provides preventative care or early treatment and for patients with recent stroke or stroke associated symptoms. Her focus is on strategies to prevent recurrent stroke and she utilizes a comprehensive approach for the same. Early diagnosis and treatment are the best way to reduce the risk of permanent damage and disability.
Dr. Chaudhary’s Training
Dr. Chaudhary earned her medical degree at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed her neurology residency training and her vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She also served as program director for the Adult Neurology program at the University of Oklahoma for five years.
