Dr. Simi George is a board-certified medical oncologist with Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She helps diagnose and treat all types of cancer, and her specialties include:

Dr. George's Training

She earned a bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and received her medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn. Dr. George completed an internal medicine residency at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Hofstra University Zucker School of Medicine in Hempstead, New York.

Dr. George is board certified in medical oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American College of Physicians.

Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. George was a hematologist and oncologist focusing on gastrointestinal malignancies at the Orlando VA Medical Center.
