Bio
Dr. Sudhakar Reddy is a double-board-certified gastroenterologist at the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. His clinical interests are in treating patients with conditions in the esophagus, stomach and colon, especially dysphagia, and performing colonoscopy and Barrett’s esophagus screenings. He specializes in treating:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Difficulty swallowing
- Ulcers
- Helicobacter pylori infection
- Celiac sprue
- Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
- Diarrhea and constipation
- Colon cancer and polyps
- Fatty liver
- Gall bladder diseases
With more than 41 years of experience, Dr. Reddy believes that listening to each patient’s story is the key to finding successful medical treatments for them.
Dr. Reddy’s Training
Dr. Reddy received his medical training at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Dr. Reddy is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His professional memberships include the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, Emerald Coast Medical Association, Florida Gastroenterologic Society and Florida Medical Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Reddy enjoys walking, exercising, traveling, reading and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu.
