Bio
Dr. Suman Patel is a board-certified and fellowship-trained radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He has cared for patients since 1985, and his experience includes:
- Performing computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans
- Providing vascular and interventional radiology, including the use of MRI
- Capturing X-rays
- Telemedicine
Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Patel was a radiologist for almost 40 years at hospitals in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, where his roles also included chairman and clinical director of several imaging departments.
Dr. Patel’s Training
Dr. Patel received his medical training from Baroda Medical College in Baroda, India. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York and his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
