Bio
Dr. Syed Faraz Rizvi is a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He uses medical imaging such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, X-ray and ultrasound to guide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat an array of conditions that once required open surgery.
His expertise includes:
- Renal and liver mass ablations
- Gonadal vein sclerotherapy/embolizations
- Prostate and uterine artery embolizations
- Type II endoleak embolizations
- Kyphoplasties
Dr. Rizvi’s Training
After studying cell and molecular biology at the University of Toronto in Scarborough, Dr. Rizvi earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed a residency in radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and an interventional radiology fellowship at Rochester Regional Health in upstate New York.

Dr. Rizvi is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and American College of Radiology.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, tennis, skiing, ice skating, reading, visiting museums, and learning new languages and cultures.
