Synquincity “Quincy” Brooks is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, the electrical currents in the heart, and diagnoses and treats patients with:
- Arrhythmias
- Device implants
- Heart failure
Synquincity also has experience in providing interventional cardiology, developing and implementing treatment plans, interpreting pacemaker and defibrillator reports, and supervising stress tests.
She listens to and comforts her patients and involves them with their care.
Synquincity’s Training
As an undergraduate, Synquincity studied premedical biology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She earned her master’s degree in medical science, physician assistant program, at Emory University in Atlanta and performed a fellowship in primary care at the Atlanta VA.
About Synquincity
Synquincity’s experience and education enable her to teach new hires on several topics including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and general cardiology.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Synquincity enjoys jogging, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband and children.
