Bio
Terrence Carter, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospitalist Group. Dr. Carter cares for women at every stage of life and sees adolescents through those in their senior years. He provides preventative gynecologic services, family planning, prenatal care and more.
Dr. Carter is experienced with high-risk deliveries and maternal fetal medicine, as well as certified in robotic surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in biology at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Dr. Carter attended Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine in Springfield, where he earned his medical degree and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He also has a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Carter is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and Central Florida Medical Society. Additionally, he is a physician volunteer for the Orange County Medical Clinic.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
