Bio
Dr. Thomas Byrne is a board-certified family medicine physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. With more than 25 years of experience, he provides comprehensive primary care, including:
- Routine physicals
- Preventive care
- Health promotion and patient education
- Chronic disease management
- Acute care
- Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests
- Coordinating care with other specialists
Dr. Byrne is a compassionate and non-judgmental physician dedicated to partnering with his patients on their journey to health and wellness. His approach to care is centered on treating each patient with the same care, respect and empathy he would extend to a family member. He believes in working together with patients to create personalized care plans that address not only physical health but also emotional well-being, fostering trust and mutual understanding every step of the way.
Dr. Byrne’s Training
Dr. Byrne received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Seattle University and his medical degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed his residency in family medicine at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.

Dr. Byrne is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star Medal as a Medical Corps physician in the U.S. Army.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, walking his dogs, visiting the Disney parks and cruising.
