Troy Edwards, MD, PhD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist practicing general urology and specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques at Orlando Health Medical Group Urology.
Dr. Edwards earned his doctorate and medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he went on to complete his general surgery residency, followed by his urology residency, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Dr. Edwards has had specialty training in minimally invasive surgery techniques, including the da Vinci Robotic System, and laparoscopic and ureteroscopic surgeries.
Dr. Edwards is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American Urologic Association and the American Medical Association.
