Troy Edwards, MD, is a board-certified urologist practicing general urology and specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques at Orlando Health Physicians Urology Group.

Dr. Edwards earned his doctorate and medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he went on to complete his general surgery residency, followed by his urology residency, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Edwards was a urologist at Urology Center of Central Florida. Dr. Edwards has had specialty training in minimally invasive surgery techniques, including the da Vinci Robotic System, and laparoscopic and ureteroscopic surgeries. 

Dr. Edwards has been published in multiple medical journals. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American Urologic Association and the American Medical Association.
