Dr. Vijayakumar Tanjavur is a board-certified vascular surgeon with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health. He works with providers in cardiology and primary care and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases affecting the blood vessels. With 24 years of experience, his expertise includes:

Dr. Tanjavur’s Training
Dr. Tanjavur received his medical training at Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed his residency in general surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, which is affiliated with Cornell University, in Bronx, New York. Dr. Tanjavur completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in New York and a research fellowship through the Yale University School of Medicine, where he focused on segmental grafts in liver transplants and how minimizing vascular complications can improve outcomes.
